Free or Low cost STI Testing

Undetected and untreated STIs can increase a person’s risk for HIV and cause other serious health consequences. STI screenings can help detect disease early. And when combined with treatment, they are one of the most effective tools available to protect one’s health and prevent the spread of STIs to others. When you schedule your STI testing with Care Net, you will be assisted by a medical professional who will walk you through all the information you need to know in a relaxed, private, and comfortable setting. We will make sure you are informed about what tests are available and which would be best for you.

What can I expect at my appointment?

When you arrive, you will have some paperwork to fill out and then you will be seen by the nurse. You will get a chance to discuss your risk factors and, if you do not wish to get all the tests we offer, the nurse will recommend the tests you should get. But the choice is entirely up to you. Your paperwork and the discussion you have with the nurse is entirely confidential. We block a full hour for the appointment so you have plenty of time to get your questions answered; however, most appointments don't take that long. Drink plenty of water before coming (so you can pee for us).

Lab samples are sent out each Thursday and all results are available the following Monday.
